The reason why this book has come about is with a hope that from it I will help to raise funds for a very worthy cause.

In Jamaica I have heard how children are cast onto the streets, sleeping and living rough, and all because they are disabled. Being disabled they are unable to contribute to the family income, hence their homeless condition.

A home has been set up called Best Hope to help and look after these children. The building is right now in urgent need of repair, not least from termites that are eating the wood in every area, and if not stopped, the children will not have a building. In addition there's the cost of feeding and clothing the children and caring for their health.

This, my friend, is why I have put this book together. It's called Poems & Verse, and I hope that you will support me in buying a copy, and that you will enjoy reading it.
